How to associate TIFF file type to Brava! Reader in the browser


The DA Tracking documents available from North Sydney Council's website are in TIFF format. Some PCs are not configured to view these files correctly. In order to open DA Tracking documents that are TIFF images you will need to user the Brava! Reader application. The following instructions will guide you through the process of making Brava! Reader your default image viewer for TIFF images. If you do not wish to do this please do not follow these instructions.
  1. Following the installation of Brava! Reader, start the Brava! Reader application.

  2. Select "Options", then "Set as Default Viewer" from the top menu bar. This will open a new Window, "Associate File Types With Brava! Reader"

  3. Select the second tab "Display with Brava Reader Inside Internet Explorer"

  4. Expand the "Imaging Format(s)" list

  5. Tick the boxes for .tif and .tiff

  6. Click OK

  7. Close Brava! Reader
